Your home is more than just a place in which you sleep. You spend a good part of your life at home, and how you keep it looking often speaks volumes about who you are. But how do you decorate it without it looking like every other house on the block? All the furniture in stores these days is mass produced and generic looking, while hiring someone to create custom furniture is much too expensive.
Luckily, you can do this yourself! Stop for a moment and stare at the furniture around you. Study how it is created. Observe it. Now, picture yourself making it. The key to building is being able to break down the object that you want to build.

What You Need:
1. Spray paint.
2. 3 or 4 large rocks (Same height and about the same size).
3. Suction cups.
4. Table Tops (Glass)
5. Craft jewels
6. 3 or 4 round wood surfaces
7. Concrete glue
You may go by your local glass store and have the glass cut and shaped to your liking. You can choose normal or smoked glass. You can also choose between round or square.
Now, you will have to use a technique called 'polishing concrete.' That is sanding down the concrete to make the surface flat. You can rent a buffer to do the work, if you do not own one. Sand the top, where the glass will rest on top of. Make sure all rocks are buffed until they are the exact same height.
Purchase several cans of spray paint to color the rocks. (Or you may leave them the way they are.) You may paint them to look like stone, or an all new color altogether. Using spray paint with a shimmer is good, just don't overdo it. You may also use several colors and blend the colors (or create artistic expressions) with a paint brush. (Be sure to spray paint outside. Use a tarp or a newspaper to keep the paint from getting on the ground.)
The round wood surfaces will go on top of the rock, between the rock and the table. You may paint it, but do not paint the side that will be glued to the rock. You may be creative and add a small mirror in the middle, but it cannot stretch the length of the wood. You must leave room for the suction cups.
After the paint has dried, you may add jewels to the rock. Now, try to use small jewels and stick with one color. Large, colorful jewels will take you in a direction that scares visitors. Small diamond like beads are ideal.
Allow 24 hours for the rocks to dry.
While you wait, drill 3 small holes in the center of each wood surface. This is where the tail of the suction cup will be. You may add the suction cups and wait.
Now, add the concrete glue to the rock's top surface and add the rounded wood to each rock, carefully centering it. Wipe away any excess glue. Again, allow 24 hours for the glue to dry.
Now, you may put the glass tops on the rocks. Voila! You have just created 3 beautiful and unique tables.
